Basque was mostly used in the domain of religion, as it was the instrument that the Church used to reach ordinary people (usually Basque monolingual speakers). Thus, texts which deal with matters not related to religion are very scarce but very interesting, because they show different uses of the written language.
This section shows, among others, a selection of letters, verses and municipal decrees.
