Fontes Linguae Vasconum 50 years (1969-2019)

Navarre Foral Council's ‘Prince of Viana’ Institution published the first issue of the scientific journal Fontes Linguae Vasconum: studia et documenta in 1969 with the objective of disseminating the latest research on the Basque language.

Fifty years later, the journal continues its work without interruption, and it has managed to gain an important position among reference publications in Basque linguistics.

To commemorate the 50 years of Fontes Linguae Vasconum, the Government of Navarre has prepared a programme with various activities and events, which can be consulted on this website.
